Enter CMC’s New Three-Day Rally for Cruising Multihulls by December 31 – Receive Dockage Discount at Anse Marcel Marina!
New for 2023, organizers of the Caribbean Multihull Challenge (CMC) will launch the Rally for Cruising Multihulls. Held concurrently with the traditional CMC, February 3-5, the rally is perfect for catamaran and trimaran sailors who want to be part of the event, but don’t want to race. The itinerary is one made in multihull heaven with wind-filled reaches and wonderful nightly destinations. The first leg departs from Simpson Bay, St. Maarten en route to the beautiful beachfront village of Anse Marcel in St. Martin. Ralliers who enter the CMC Rally at yachtscoring.com/emenu.cfm?eID=15355 by December 31 and receive a discounted package on dockage at the Anse Marcel Marina.
“Come and enjoy a beautiful marina, surrounded by peaceful nature and within walking distance of grocery shops, luxury shops, restaurants and bars with a marina view, and the beach club in Anse Marcel bay,” invites Renaud Wack, director of the 125-slip marina, which can accommodate yachts up to 88-feet LOA with an 8-foot draft.
Anse Marcel Marina has a limited number of spaces for catamarans, so the earlier ralliers enter the better. The dockage package is only €100 (US $97), which includes one night, clearance in and out for the entire crew, one shower per person, and two bags of ice. After December 31, the rate goes up to €130 (US $127).
Once in Anse Marcel, ralliers can enjoy Anse Marcel Beach, shopping in the new upscale Acacias Gallery, and a French-style BBQ at the Blue Sail Hotel and Restaurant. The next morning, the rally fleet departs from Anse Marcel at 11 a.m. en route to the next destination, Road Bay, Anguilla. www.caribbeanmultihullchallenge.com/
